The Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints visited the areas affected by the gulf coast BP oil spill and vowed to raise $1 million to help the cleanup efforts.

“These are the front lines whether you’re a resident or a regular responder,” Brees told the media outside the International Bird Rescue Research Center the quarterback and his team visited.

As part of the donations, the team plans to raffle off a Super Bowl Championship ring.
