In 1975, [lastfm]Peter Gabriel[/lastfm] quits [lastfm]Genesis[/lastfm], with drummer [lastfm]Phil Collins[/lastfm] taking over as lead singer.
In 1977, [lastfm]Elvis Presley[/lastfm] dies of heart failure at his home in Memphis. The King of Rock and Roll was just 42.
And in 1983, P[lastfm]aul Simon[/lastfm] weds Star Wars star Carrie Fisher, but the marriage dissolves within two years.
