George Harrison‘s All Things Must Pass was a breakthrough release for the music lovers of 1970, revealing Harrison’s songwriting genius away from the overshadowing presence of Lennon and McCartney. Now 40 years later, it’s being reissued for both wax fans and digital junkies: 180g vinyl will be released simultaneously with digital download from Harrison’s official site on November 26th, the vinyl available exclusively at stores that participate in Record Store Day.

We’ve got the Last.fm Trends team to look at his current top tracks among Last.fm users, to see if a change might be due…

All Things Must Pass dominates his chart for the past six months, with six out of the top ten placings. “My Sweet Lord” remains his most popular track overall, totalling 894,350 scrobbles from 261,567 listeners.

This isn’t the first time All Things Must Pass has had the deluxe re-issue treatment, and the songs on it aren’t likely to budge much from their position in Harrison’s chart. But will a new generation of fans be introduced to Harrison’s solo work with the digital re-release?

Visit his Last.fm page to find out how the tracks from All Things Must Pass fare from November 26th, and in the meantime keep up to date with classic artists and breakthrough acts every weekday at Last.fm Trends.
