Not only are there rumors that [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Rolling Stones[/lastfm] will perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California in April, but the U.K. is buzzing with a report that they will also headline the Glastonbury Festival in June. Guitarist Ronnie Wood has been quoted as saying he’d love to play Glastonbury. The lineup will be announced in the spring. A spokeswoman for the Stones was unavailable for comment.
Meanwhile, Stones promoter Michael Cohl is embroiled in a lawsuit with his former employer, promotion giant Live Nation. In his countersuit, Cohl claims Live Nation is trying to interfere with him promoting a possible Stones tour this year. The band reportedly does not want to be caught in the middle of the lawsuits.
