The estate of the late romantic soul icon has cut a deal with apps specialist Pente Group to create mobile device applications and to enliven the BarryWhite.com website. While promising “apps featuring Barry White to please every fan,” and saying they’d be available for iPhone and Facebook platforms, no specifics were revealed in the announcement.

Pente’s chairman and CEO Basil Bouraropoulos did say that “Barry White’s iconic voice and place in American culture present the perfect opportunity for unique social and mobile media.”
