All you need is love, right?  AND the right soul mate…

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] is now officially engaged to marry Nancy Shevell, according to Us Weekly.

Paul proposed to New York businesswoman Shevell last weekend — but Nancy didn’t wear her new ring when she hit the red carpet at Monday’s massive Met Gala event in New York. Regardless, it is apparently true, and they are both spreading the good news.

No official word from Paul’s camp yet.

This will be Paul’s 3rd marriage. His first wife, Linda, died of cancer at age 56 in 1998; the spouses of 30 years had three children together. Paul’s second 2002 marriage to Heather Mills ended with a messy, expensive divorce in 2008.

Paul and Nancy met in the Hamptons in 2007, while he and Mills were already separated. ~JZ.
