Brian Wilson now says he’s not interested in a 50th anniversary reunion with the rest of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Beach Boys[/lastfm]:

He tells New York’s Village Voice, “I don’t know anything about that… I don’t really [have a relationship with the other members] right now, and I’m not really interested in them.”

The article, in advance of Wilson’s three New York dates — June 11th through the 13th — also discusses his likely re-retirement from touring and the difficult memories associated with The Beach Boys’ 1960s Smile project, which is set for release this year.

Wilson starts his tour Monday in Vienna, Virginia.  ~JZ.
