Jody was talking about people sitting in their garage when it is so hot! There is a man in Crandall, Tx (CR 269) that has “lived ” in his garage for a number of years now. Family is evidently inside, but he has his bed, tv, etc in the garage. You can drive by, the door is up & there he is sitting on the side of the bed watching tv. Day, Night, Weekends! Go figure!! He has evidently been exiled to the garage. Don’t you know the mesquitos are really eating this guy up?

as a child, I often stayed with my grandparents during the sommer months when school was out. I was so horrified when my grandpa go retrieve the newspaper in the morning They live off the main highway that goes thru our town & he would walk right up to the paper box at the end of their driveway, in nothing but his tidie whities! Ugghhh….it still makes me shudder when I think about it! heehee!

I had to tell you about my weird neighbor, John” He has a huge oak tree in his front yard, no grass in the yard, but he’s out there almost every day sweeping the dirt with a broom into a dust pan. I kid you not. He makes sure the dirt is nice and neat with nary a twig, leaf or rock in sight. I have never seen a neater dirt yard on a block anywhere in Richardson!
