Those who attend a [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] show see him perform for more than two hours. What they don’t see is the 60-to-90-minute soundcheck in front of invited guests and contest winners:
For his weekend shows at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, New York, Macca warmed up with 18 songs on Friday and 15 on Saturday.
Four other items of note about McCartney performances:
1) no wardrobe changes
2) no intermission
3) no drinking of water or any other liquid on stage
4) he still sings most of the songs in the same key they were recorded
