It’s a legendary teaming of two supergroups:

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Four Seasons[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Beach Boys[/lastfm] were the two most important American groups to withstand the British Invasion of the mid-’60s. On August 25th, they’ll join forces as [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Frankie Valli[/lastfm]‘s current lineup and the band fronted by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mike Love[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruce Johnston[/lastfm] share a bill at the Mount Laurel Pocono Mountain Performing Arts Center in Pennsylvania.
Next year, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jersey Boys[/lastfm] will have another country stamped on its passport. The Four Seasons-based Australian musical will open in Auckland, New Zealand in April 2012.
Currently there are five separate companies of the show — including Broadway, Las Vegas, a U.S. national tour, London and Sydney. A second U.S. production will go on tour next year. ~JZ.
