America’s love affair with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Elvis Presley[/lastfm] shows no signs of slowing down.
Yesterday, the “King of Rock and Roll’s” two-DVD set Elvis: The Great Performances debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Music Video sales chart. The double-disc compilation culls “King” performances from as far back as his first television appearance to a sold-out concert appearance just a few weeks before his death on August 16, 1977.
The set also includes over 2 hours of remastered footage and previously unseen interviews.
