[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Queen[/lastfm] guitarist [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Brian May[/lastfm]‘s performance of “God Save the Queen” atop Buckingham Palace in June 2002 is number-two in a poll of England’s favorite TV moments…

May’s solo, which kicked off the concert celebrating Queen Elizabeth‘s Golden Jubilee, came in behind this spring’s marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton and ahead of Barack Obama‘s election as America’s first black president.

Brian May was on stage this past Saturday in London for the matinee and evening performances of the Queen musical We Will Rock You. Those were the last performances for actress [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mazz Murray[/lastfm] as the “Killer Queen.” ~JZ.
