You can tell we are heading for Halloween…[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Alice Cooper[/lastfm] will be one of this year’s honorees at this year’s Eyegore Awards at Universal Studios theme park in Hollywood, California…

The shock rock pioneer — and recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee — will also unveil a Welcome to My Nightmare maze inspired by his current album. The September 23rd event (that’s this Friday) kicks of the park’s annual Halloween Horror Nights promotion. Corey Feldman will MC and rocker-turned-filmmaker [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rob Zombie[/lastfm] will be among the presenters.

Alice will be joined by stars of several current horror films — Scream‘s David Arquette and Jamie Kennedy, Rainn Wilson of House of 1000 Corpses, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark star Bailee Madison and Final Destination 5 actress Emma Bell. ~JZ.
