The composer-singer, best known for his hit “Escape (The Pina Colada Song),” is staging a reading of his new project — an adaptation of the John Grisham novel A Time to Kill.

The reading took place last Friday night in New York, and Holmes plans to bring the show to the Great White Way in the spring.

Justin Timberlake is rumored to be in the running for a lead role.~JZ.
