Aretha Franklin’s RRHOF Award-Winning Night

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Aretha Franklin[/lastfm] gave the audience a pleasant surprise when came on stage Saturday night to cap off her tribute show at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s American Music Masters series…

The Queen of Soul joined [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Dennis Edwards[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Temptations[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jerry Butler[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Cissy Houston[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Ronald Isley[/lastfm] on the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Leon Russell[/lastfm] composition “A Song for You.”

Franklin’s big day also included her receiving an honorary doctorate from Cleveland’s prestigious Case Western University.
