Lionel gets the Peter J. Gomes Humanitarian Award from Harvard University.

The Harvard Foundation is recognizing Richie for co-writing the 1985 charity anthem “We Are the World” as well as for his fundraising for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Richie’s next studio album Tuskegee, a collection of country duets, is due in March. ~JZ.
