Last week’s announcement that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Faces[/lastfm] and their predecessor, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Small Faces[/lastfm], will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April has raised speculation about a reunion tour of the group’s surviving members including [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rod Stewart[/lastfm]…
The Faces have been touring with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mick Hucknall[/lastfm] on vocals, but Stewart says he’s open to a reunion. “It’s something that I would want to do, but it’s getting a commitment from Faces guitarist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ronnie Wood[/lastfm] — who is hanging onto what[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] The Rolling Stones[/lastfm] are going to do… If we all sat around and said, ‘Let’s do it next summer,’ or, ‘Let’s do it for charity’ or whatever reason, I would do it. It’s not totally ruled out.”
Keyboardist[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Ian McLagan[/lastfm] says he’d like to see it happen, but won’t stop touring with Hucknall in the meantime. “It’s a working band. Obviously we’d love Rod to be a part of it. I never say never.”
The Faces are expected to perform at the induction ceremony on April 14th in Cleveland. ~JZ.

For pity’s sake Stewart, do it. Watching Hucknall disembowel that wonderful music is soul destroying.
