In a new BBC documentary, remembering his US band’s Sixties TV show, Micky added, “It was a show about a band that wanted to be The Beatles and never made it. I think that’s why it connected with so many people.” ~JZ.

There was room for both bands. I always preferred the Monkees, not so much the songs, but even the boys.
