Hinsche calls it “a loving tribute” to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Beach Boys[/lastfm] drummer, who drowned nearly 30 years ago.
It’s a bare-bones production, with no music or concert footage, but the combination of interviews and candid video paints a picture not available anywhere else.
Hinsche, the onetime member of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dino Desi and Billy [/lastfm]who has long been a touring member of The Beach Boys, says he decided to focus on Dennis to reveal more of who he was beyond the music and wild image.
Hinsche says, “Dennis was trying to find a comfortable fit for himself.” ~JZ.
