The Montreal Gazette reports [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Celine Dion[/lastfm] and her husband-manager Rene Angelil are partners in a group that may soon take over Schwartz’s, that city’s famed Jewish-style deli.
This wouldn’t be Dion and Angelil’s first fling in the food biz — back in the ’90s they joined a cousin of Rene’s in the Nickles eatery chain. But Schwartz’s is considered a landmark, a rare deli that cures and prepares meats in its own smokehouse.
