Following weeks of speculation, it was announced Wednesday that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Brian Wilson[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mike Love[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Al Jardine[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruce Johnston[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]David Marks[/lastfm] will join with Grammy nominees [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Foster the People [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Maroon Five[/lastfm] for a special performance.
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Gerry Beckley [/lastfm]of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]America[/lastfm], a close friend of the late [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Carl Wilson[/lastfm], tells us he was in the studio with the Beach Boys earlier this week.
While tight-lipped on details, he tells us “it was one of the best songs I’ve heard in a long time.”
