Notorious for her tough negotiating skills, Sharon Osbourne posted a message on Facebook denying any involvement in the contract dispute between [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Black Sabbath[/lastfm] drummer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bill Ward[/lastfm] and the band in which the drummer has threatened not to participate in the reunion.
Osbourne wrote, “I am not in any position to hire or fire anyone in Black Sabbath. I don’t manage the band, I manage my husband.”
Meanwhile, Ward’s son, Aron, is backing his dad 100 percent and sent the other three guys a note, which reads, “To Terry [Geezer Butler], my godfather, to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ozzy Osbourne[/lastfm], my friend when I was little, and Tony [Iommi], towering hero: I hope that you will listen to your fans. You are Black Sabbath and so is my dad. I hope you guys can work it out.”
