The [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Buffalo Springfield[/lastfm] reunion tour that was temporarily put on hold will stay on hold for the foreseeable future, according to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Richie Furay[/lastfm].
In a recent radio interview, Furay said[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Neil Young[/lastfm]‘s plans to record not one but two new albums with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Crazy Horse[/lastfm] helped put the resumption of the Buffalo Springfield reunion tour back out to pasture for an unspecified length of time.
Furay said that “without the three of us, really there can’t be anything that would even resemble a Buffalo Springfield. I gotta say that we probably lost a little bit of our momentum; that isn’t to say it couldn’t be picked up again, but I certainly don’t see anything happening this year.”
Of course the third indispensable member is [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Stephen Stills[/lastfm].
