April 12th, 1999:  Two [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Beatles[/lastfm] recordings and one of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]John Lennon’s [/lastfm]have been named to the Recording Hall of Fame:  “Revolver” (album), “Strawberry Fields Forever” (song), and “Imagine.”

Also named on this day were “Louie Louie,” “Johnny B. Goode,” “Moondance,” and “Are You Experienced.”
