The New York Post is reporting that co-host of the Today Show, Ann Curry, will be released from the rest of her three year contract as co-host of the Today Show. After just one year as Co-Host and 15 years on the morning show Curry will get a reported $10 million on her way out.

Curry has received a ton of negative press since she ascended to the seat next to Matt Lauer. Lauer just got a contract extension to continue hosting the show that will net him around $25 million dollars a year.

The replacement for Curry is reportedly going to be announced this week. Many expect that Savannah Gutherie will jump from co-host of the third hour of the morning show to Curry’s seat next to Lauer.
