I caught Glenn Frey’s interview on Piers Morgan last night. He has a new album of standards which is just great! And Glenn dressed the part, didn’t he? I’m just not used to an Eagle being so clean-cut.

Piers made the point that since the Eagles reunited in 1994, they’ve been together twice as long as they were when they had their monster success. I’d never thought of it that way.

Here he is discussing how radically the music business has changed since the 70s.

An interesting point that was made was the fact that a great way to promote your record now is TV. If you get a car commercial you have a chance for a hit. A little different then when Glenn and the Eagles were tearing up the charts.
