It’s a lot of money for something that you normally only get to wear once. Some people box their dresses away never to see the light of day again. Some people swear they will pass it down to their daughter. If they have one with the same style, size and likes as they did when they got married. Some bridesmaids think the dress will be perfect to alter into a cocktail dress. If they ever get around to taking it in. So, what do you do with your wedding dress or bridesmaids dress after the big day?
Now there is an answer from a North Richland Hills non-profit group. We’re All About the Dress is trying to pair recently engaged military personnel with gently used dresses, to help ease the financial burden of their special day.
They also accept cash donations and are looking for volunteers.
