Forbes magazine released its annual list of the 200 richest people in America, and it includes 23 people from the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Walmart heir Alice Walton of Fort Worth is not only the richest person in DFW, but the richest person living in the state of Texas, with a net worth of $26.3 billion. The 62-year-old Walton’s wealth ranks her as the 8th richest person in the country.
