This week Kathy takes on San Diego VS Tampa Bay, Denver VS Carolina, and Dallas VS Philadelphia.

Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away and that means pie…

SAN DIEGO at TAMPA BAY…state pie of California is the avocado pie. I don’t know what those granola eating, yoga queens are thinking, but it’s obviously not about flavor…  a big key lime pie to the face from Florida is really gonna sting. TAMPA BAY WINS!!!

DENVER at CAROLINA….It’s Rocky Mountain Pie for Colorado, which contains chocolate chips and lots of bourbon, yum…the state vegetable of N. Carolina is the sweet potato, which means they will be eating sweet potato pie for Thanksgiving, lots of sugar and cream…boring…prohibition is over GIRLS, where’s the liquor? DENVER WINS!!!

DALLAS at PHILADELPHIA…In Pennsylvania they eat something called Shoofly pie…It got it’s name because pioneer women had to shoo fliies from the pools of sweet, sticky molasses that formed on the surface of the pie while it was cooling.  Did you know houseflies carry disease.   Uuumm, taste the cholera. DALLAS WINS!!!
