Never Ever Do A Favor For A Friend!!!
A collection of stupid people and their stupid stories or as we like to call it…They Walk Among Us!
An Amsterdam Budget Hotel is playing on its basic facilities by advertising itself as the worst in the world. The Hans Brinker Budget Hotel says it “has been proudly disappointing travelers for 40 years.” From The ad: “Boasting levels of comfort comparable to a minimum security prison, the Hans Brinker also offers some plumbing and an intermittently open canteen serving a wide range of dishes based on runny eggs.” It adds that the place “isn’t just a cheap youth hostel in Amsterdam…it’s a cheap, dirty, cold, poorly lit youth hostel in Amsterdam.” There is a disclaimer that also reads: “Those wishing to saty do so at their own risk and will not hold the hotel liable for food poisoning, mental breakdowns, terminal illness, lost limbs, radiation poisoning, certain diseases associated with the 18th century plague, etc.” Like any kids in Amsterdam care where they sleep.
A burglar in Britain was caught thanks to surveillance footage…from his own iPhone! Emmanuel Jerome, 23, thought he was using his phone as a flashlight as he rummaged through a stranger’s home last month. But really he had mistakenly turned on the phone’s camera! It may not have been a flashlight, but it certainly shined a light on his crime. The not-so-smartphone recorded the entire break-in and the video was ultimately used against him in court. And here’s where you stole all my jewelry, next you bump into a lamp.
You might think twice the next time you offer to do a favor for a friend. Art Deaner barely escaped an abduction charge after he picked up the wrong little girl at school and drove away with her. He was supposed to pick up 6-year-old Courtney Fetter for a friend, but drove away with 9-year-old Courtney Durr instead. Apparently, 9-year-old Courtney Durr vaguely resembled 6-year-old Courtney Fetter and since she answered to the name Courtney…he assumed it was her. See parents…we really don’t want to look at pictures of your kid.
