Norway’s Petter Kverneng and his high school crush Catherine came up with a little joke for their friends that’s gotten out of hand. Petter got Catherine to agree to sleep with him if he could get a million Facebook likes, so they posted a picture and an explainer on-line and everybody had a good laugh. Except it went viral, and as of the weekend the pic is well past 900,000 likes and should make a million easily. Catherine says she will go through with it if that happens…

A court case in Massachusetts will require Lesley University to serve gluten-free foods in the school cafeteria – but another aspect of the outcome has much bigger implications. As part of the settlement the court ruled that food allergies may be classified as a disability – meaning restaurants and other institutions would be much more vulnerable to lawsuits if they don’t account for special dietary needs.
