Back in the 60′s rabbits were introduced to Australia and nearly overran the continent. Now New Zealand is having a similar problem – with cats. One ecologist says cats are nothing but gleeful little killers that have wiped out almost a dozen species of native birds – and calls are growing for their eradication. Not all Kiwis are on board with the new “Make This Cat Your Last” campaign, but humor there being what it is we can’t give you their pro-kitty slogan…

Residents in London are complaining because, well, it stinks. According to reports a plant northwest of Paris, sent out cloud of harmless gas that smelled like sweat and rotten eggs. The smell was so strong, that it wafted all the way across the English Channel and into London. Of course the stench is coming from France…they don’t bathe!!!

Japanese Minister of Finance Taro Aso hasn’t been office thirty days, but he’s already ticked off millions of his constituents. Aso says the country’s elderly are a drain on Japan’s economy and should do everyone a favor and “hurry up and die”. Japan’s over-60 demo is approaching nearly half the population, putting a huge burden on resources there - but older citizens are after Aso’s apology and resignation.
