It sounds like an episode of Modern Family. Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson got stuck in an elevator with several other people over the weekend. The trapped actors made a couple of videos and posted pictures as they spent an hour waiting to be rescued.

They were in Eric Stonestreet’s hometown for a Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City charity event. Stuck in the elevator with the actors was also Stonestreet’s mother.

Julie Bowen tweeted, “After a quick hour trapped in the service elevator, we were rescued by Duke and the Fire dept.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson summed the experience with, “Finally made it out of the stuck elevator at the one hour mark. At least the firemen in K.C. are cute.”
