Beatles Love, Love, Love Songs

I joked with a colleague a while back that the first ten Beatle hits had ‘Love’ in the title. The Beatles were, of course, masters at writing and delivering the best that romantic love has to offer.

In fact, their first single not involving love was Nowhere Man (release #27!)

And what’s the title, fifty years later, of their still-running Cirque de Soleil show?

And the final collaboration with all four of them, in ’96, with John Lennon recordings?

It’s all you need.

So in honor of the upcoming heart-shaped holiday, we’ll spotlight their more joy-inspired love songs today– as opposed to those about loss, betrayal or the burning of furniture.

I mean, who else can hold a cinnamon-scented candle to this love resume?

If I Fell, Michelle, This Boy, All My Loving, Do You Want to Know a Secret?, Can’t Buy Me Love, Things We Said Today, I Feel Fine, Words of Love, Got to Get You Into My Life, She’s A Woman, Any Time At All, I Need You, The Long and Winding Road, And I Love Her, Here, There and Everywhere, Love Me Do, I Will, It’s Only Love, She Loves You, When I’m Sixty Four, I’ve Just Seen a Face, I Want to Hold Your Hand, In My Life, Thank You Girl and Something.

(P.S. I Love You)
