HS Senior With Cerebral Palsy Walks For The First Time At Graduation

Ahhhhh high school. The memories…the friends…moments you will carry with you forever.

For Micah McDade, he will remember his high school graduation for the first time he walked. His classmates will remember it for one of the most inspiring moments of their lives.

Micah has cerebral palsy. He has spent his entire life in a wheelchair. His friends and classmates have never seen him walk. So when his name was called out from the stage at graduation, Micah wheeled himself to the edge of the stage and stood up. With the help of a walker, Micah walked across that stage to get his diploma.

If you aren’t already in tears, just listened to crowd as he walks the stage! Everyone is cheering and clapping! It’s like he just won the Super Bowl!!!

Congrats Micah! Thanks for sharing your first steps with the world.
