Roller Coasters May Help You Pass Kidney Stones

Have you ever had kidney stones?

They are honestly the worst pain you will ever experience in life. Many doctors and nurses compare the pain of passing a stone to childbirth. You wouldn’t wish one on your worst enemy.

Needless to say, if you’ve ever had one…you will do anything humanly possible to avoid one. Even if it means riding a roller coaster.

Seriously, riding a roller coaster could help you pass kidney stones before they ever become a problem. Apparently, the centripetal force of a coaster.

David Wartinger, a professor emeritus at Michigan State, who has been studying kidney stones for decades, noticed a trend in several anecdotal reports. Several patients has passed small kidney stones immediately after a visit to Disney World. More specifically, Big Thunder Mountain seems to be the ride of choice. And while you’re at it, sitting in the back seems to work best.
