Moraccon TV Show Airs Makeup Tips To Cover Up Domestic Violence Bruises

Domestic violence is a serious issue, one that shouldn’t be taken lightly. So, if you’re going to do a TV segment on the subject, it better be about awareness or a “how to” about getting out of that situation. Perhaps a list of shelters…they are a few different angles you can take on domestic violence.

However, a makeup segment devoted to covering up your bruises and black eye is just plain wrong.

A Moraccon TV station is in some trouble after featuring makeup artist Lilia Mouline, who did a two minute segment on how to cover up facial bruises with makeup. The goal was to help abused women “continue their normal life.”

The station has since issued an apology. Essentially calling the incident an error in judgement.
