Good News! Priests Give A Reprieve During Lent To Eat Meat On St. Patrick’s Day

Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day, but it also happens to fall on a Friday in the middle of Lent.

If you’re Catholic, no meat – and this is almost not even fair.

So, Catholic leaders around the country – including locally, last night – are issuing dispensations that will allow the observant to make and exception tomorrow for a little Irish stew. The only condition is that folks switch their day without meat to today or Saturday.
